with my weight now (which you'll never know >:P) and considering the fact that it's got nothing to do with big bones cause my bones are TINY, I've gotta stop my heavy eating.

On a really random note..

...I ♥ BEEF.

Yesterday my parents went out, leaving me home alone with the maid.
So to cheer me up, I decided to cook myself a scrumptious dinner! :D
I made my famous (so called/as IF) Beef Dish!
Super simple, super fast, and super yummy!
Just beef (marinated with soy sauce and grounded black pepper), butter, distilled vinegar, and lots of garlic!
and Voila! Comfort Food :)

...but ugh, I HATE coffee!

Trials is due TOMORROW. :S

I've been drinking a LOT of coffee to stay awake. It's horrible, i know.
I never liked coffee.
all for the sake of exams.
and the consequences of procrastinating.
*sigh*
I'm definitely cleaning myself of coffee after SPM.

yuck.

Time for some randooom updates ;)

1.I've been cooking! :D simple ones tho. Like spaghetti, potato salad, omelet, and beef burgers! :) Next in line? JabChae! My sister started a blog for her recipes, and i've become a fond follower! ;)

2.I've also been baking. Butter chocolate chip cupcakes, Chocolate covered cupcakes, Almond cupcakes, and recently I tried making a butter layered cake with chocolate frosting. It was for a surprise birthday gift for my mom's 50th birthday. It turned alright, i guess....or you be the judge. constructive comments are much wanted. ;)

as you can see, the flaw was that it turned out rather messy.

Finished it with some almond bits and fancy candles.

3.Spm trials are around the corner and I'm stresssinnnngggg out! nuff' said

4.Just came back from Healthy Living Camp. Although i did not manage to study much, I still had a great time. Especially with the sisters :) and the messages were very touching.

p/s: I miss you too JASMINEEEEEE!! :)

5.I've been watching avatar the anime recently. so nice :D who wouldn't like to see ppl bending water, earth, fire and air?? It's like every kid's dream to able to manipulate things around you. no?

right, i'm a teen.
but still....

6. I'm currently TRYING to study history. It's so hard to get into the textbook.

It's july 7th of 2011 today, and the 8th of July in 27 minutes.

Time is passing so fast all of the sudden.

Everything is written and routined.

I just want to have a moment to truly take everything pleasant in.

Just a moment where i can truly rest peacefully.

If only life is a storybook.

a class trip to MSU

yay! FINALLY. a class trip!! woohoo! :D

Today my whole class skipped school for a class trip to MSU- Management and Science University at Shah Alam.
We departed at around 7.15a.m. and arrived around 8.45a.m. The University was huge! Pretty impressive, but the surroundings were nothing to fancy on. It was surrounded with flyovers and busy streets.

We had our breakfast at their cafeteria then off we went climbing flights of stairs from the 1st floor to the 7th. :O phew.

We went in to a lecture hall that looks exactly like a cinema would. Then sat there for an hour listening to the representative speakers. They were Hilarious! :D

Then by 11, it was time for our tour. Our group was sent to first visit the anatomy class. or as the speakers called it "bilik mayat". yeap. real dead bodies that has been preserved.

We first saw a body, a male's i think, who has the fats taken out and skinned. He had a bullet shot through his head. The body has gone through a process called embalming process. sort of like waxing i guess.
Then the professor brought us to see some body parts that has been separated from the body, such as legs, hands, and organs. That was on table 1.

On table two were a upper half of a body that was (cut?) into 2. So we got to see the spine, vertebra, and the lungs. real rotten black lungs. a heavy smoker. :/

then the last table, that is, table 3, we saw real flesh and skin. a male. we only saw upper half of the body. The skin of the face and hands were still intact, so as the eyebrows and facial hair. The body has been there for about 3 years.

For the last bit, the prof. brought us into the morgue where they preserve the bodies by soaking them in some sort of chemical. The smell from the chemical was awful. It smelled rotten and like medicine, but it stings your nose and eyes like medicated oil ("feng you") We saw a few bodies, all bloated. That part was pretty creepy, cause it was real with all the skin, fats, and flesh still intact.

anyways, that was the visit to the anatomy class. after that, we went to their library that consists of 3 stories. :D Lovely.

by 12, we were all back at the lecture hall. more speeches. played a small game. and then off we went downstairs for lunch.

by 1, we were all on board on bus, sleepy and full. on the way back to smkte. :)

A day of adorable giggles and a blissful dinner.

Updates on 20th June

At school this morning, I was walking back from the assembly site to the field for a short KPJ meeting.

On the way, I met this young boy who is from the "special education" class.

Meaning he's a special kid :)

I known him for a while, he's always full of smiles calling out loud my name just to say "HI!!" haha :D

He was walking in front of me this morning and was smiling shyly (gah, so adorable!)

He came up to me to give me a handshake. Laughed and went back to his class. hah!

We were all gathering at the field, when the boy ran up to me and asked :"wanna come to my house??" like we're playmates or something.

haha, aigoo, I'm dying from his innocent cuteness, i tell ya! :D

Then later on Biology class started, my good friend came up to me to tell me that the little boy told her to tell me that he likes me and to wait at the canteen for him during recess.

hahaa, all of us started to laugh, it was just the cutest thing ever! Talk about simple minded kids and innocent crushes. ;)

and basically back to daily routines for the rest of the updtes.

After school, came back home, watched karate kid, went for tuition, came home and walked my two FAT dogs.

Then came home to a table full of yummy dinner. And to add icing to the cake, my mom whipped out a big bowl of yummy delicious lip-smacking mini lalas!! :D awwww YEAH!! SEAFOOD, me love! ♥

I think I ate easily about a 100 of those mini goodness, no seriously.

:9 too yummy!

and now i'm blogging with a chilled 100 plus by my side.

There're so much to say and update on, now that it's the hols.

sadly, it's the hols for only 2 more days. BUT on the brighter side, i'm EXCITED to go back to school, it's getting way too boring at home. :D

It's 11 right now, so i'm not gonna blog much. Just a lil on what i have been doing.

Prominent things that has happened during this hols.

For the first week,

I went to Manjung for a one week conference and training. It was Superb! :D Though it would have been much more Superb-ER if all my sisters/companions could've made it :( but anyhoo, I'll get to see them tomorrow, so it's fineeeee :D :D :D

I'm a lil lazy to blog much on Manjung now, so probably more in my next post. :)

During the whole second week of the hols, I have been eating, cooking, sitting, sleeping, movies, stoning, facebook, piano, quality time with my sis.

The last one would be the best. went out half of yesterday to the Curve to study with my sis at Starbucks at Borders. Then, we catched a movie, X-Men! :D which was awesome.

overall, a great quality time with Michelle. ;)

My parents aren't around, so i was obliged to take up cooking.

Let's just say i've got a long way to go. hah!

but i AM proud with myself, i managed to put lunch on the table..

Spaghetti and potato salad.

Edible, at least. ;)

I gave myself a homework too for the hols, that is, practice playing the piano for at least half-an-hour a day.

Nyeh.... well, It's not practice makes perfect for me. It's LOTS OF PRACTICE makes improvement. XD

Ah, I've got lots to say, but i'll say them another time.

My hands just don't wanna move no more. :D and my memory shrinks at night.

so yeah.

3 weeks back, I entered debate.

I didn't know what to expect really, just wanted to have a taste of it.

after my test, things got started.

we had only 4 days to prepare, so everything was in a rush, and it was so intense!

well, anyways, i'll skip the practices and go straight to the competition.

It was held at my school on last Friday.

Our school had an express pass to the second round, so we got to see other schools competing with one another.

It was really interesting actually.

The way they convey their messages, the way they speak, the way they move.

It was like being in a court with 6 lawyers.

haha :D

it was an advantage for us to see the opponents before we compete, we got to point out the weaklink and planned our strategy.

at the end of the 1st round, smk rahman putra was announced the winner.

and so, let the war begin! ;D

-Round 2-

the battle was intense, we were armed with our swords and machine guns and canons.

and lo! we won!! :D

smk taman ehsan was announced the winner, and i stole title of best speaker!!! :D

I was so Happpppiieee!!! :D we were jumping and screaming, and we had so many support from our schoolmates :) ♥ so thank you.

when asked about the reason of our success, the judges told us that we were very composed and calm, not even a little shaked or condemned by the opponent. and very polite too, lol ;D

so, YAY! haha.

I believe also, that God was there for me, as He has answered my prayer, thank you ♥

but unfortunately, i found out later on that Kathleen's school was disqualified because of a massive traffic jam which was not their fault at all. :(

so my best wishes to her, and may she stumble upon another opportunity like this in the near future ;) cheer up, sis! :D

Kluang Youth Outing- Day 3

sorry i'm a week late blog, test was killing me.

yay! i'm test-free now! er well. for now. ;)

Day 3 people, as i promised :)

Rise and shine!

Imagine if we really do wake up in the morning and shine-radiate light or something. cool!

hah, back to daaaayyy 3

woke up, wash up, and got ready for morning revival.

we decided to have it on our way to the reception area as we were running a lil late.

so Jasmine, Phoebe, Priscilla, Jasmine (Chan), and I had our morning revivals together while walking :)

We had char kuey teow, fried rice and fried mee for breakfast :9

meeting was great.

it was the last session, so samuel and dominic decided to play the guitar with me even though the guitars were missing 2 strings each.

it was alright tho :) everything went smoooth...

*sigh*

then came the part where everything was fast and before we knew it, it was time to bid our goodbyes.

I was comforted with the thought that at least i'm still able to have lunch with the sisters, but sadly, comfort dah terbang.

I had to leave early, cause i was seating one of the cars, and not with them on the bus. :/

so after several hugs and goodbyes, i'm off!

off to home sweet home :)

I do miss kluang, very much.

the peaceful life, the scenery, nature, the simplicity of everything. aah :)

simplicity... isn't that what we need in life?

life is so complicated now. :/

but, any-hoo. back to topic. ;D

I had a GREAT time, and i thank God for this blessed opportunity :)

Kluang Youth Outing- Day 2

We woke up at 6.30 a.m.

It may be melting hot in the afternoon there, but it was freezing cold early in the morning!!

We got up, and washed up. When that was done, it was time for us to have our morning revival.

We formed a small group, just Jasmine, Phoebe, and I and decided to have our morning revival outside, where the air was fresh and the breeze was cool.

Jasmine and I at first intended to catch the sunrise the night before, but sadly the skies were cloudy. So we could only witness a foggy morning, it was still nice tho, nevertheless ;)

Just when we finished our morning revival, the truck that will be sending us to our breakfast area arrived.

Breakfast was yummy! We had fried rice, mee hoon, and char kuey teow! :9 just your daily malaysian breakfast ;D

By 8.30 a.m, we went into the meeting room for a few hymns and then was separated into groups for the farm tour. I was separated from Jasmine :(

thankfully tho, I had Phoebe, otherwise I would've been a total loner. XD

For the farm tour:-

we learnt how fertilizers and goat food were made.
we had the opportunity to pet some goats and carry little fluffy lambs
we went through a passion fruit street, which i avoided as there were so many huge ants (i have this phobia of big ants since i got bitten by a swarm of them. needless to say, they were red. *shivers*)
then we saw a natural bee hive
we drank naturally sweet herbal tea (so good!!)
we saw and fed ostriches!! :D
we saw tree houses at the cultural village
we ate organic mushroom salad!

and that's pretty much it. ;)

We had lunch after that.

yummy as usual.

Then, we went back to our rooms to rest.

by 3p.m we were all back at the meeting room for, well a meeting ;D It was during this meeting i believe that, one of the guitars (not mine, thank goodness=p) had 2 strings broken.

Which left mine the only survivor out of the 3 guitars we started with. :O

Once meeting was over...activities time!

Jasmine and I wanted to just rest and relax in our room as it was too hot outside, but we heard that some singaporean saints has prepared a few activities for us. and so we both participated, afraid of letting them down.

We had no regrets tho, it was great fun! mainly because by this, we were blending :)

After much fun and laughters, it was time for us all to get ready for dinner.

yes, dinner was yummy. lol ;D

as usual, meeting starts right after dinner.

I wasn't too keen in playing the guitar this time, as my guitar is the 'last one standing'. and i'm not very confident yet to play alone.

So thank goodness! I had Miss Phoebe Chor next to me who was excellent!

She played throughout the meeting.

It was good actually, not playing the guitar for a while, gives me a chance to really blend with the saints.

We sang the hymn "Lord, we offer ourselves to you" which was the hymn we sang during the one month training a year+ ago.

For us who attended that training, we were rejoicing! Not just because of the message of the hymn but also because it brought back many memories of us all singing and praising in one Body. :) aah.

Meeting was very enjoyable, and I was a little sad when it was over. Probably because it told me that the outing was also closer to it's end. :(

We went back, washed up, and just drop on our bed out of exhaustion (well, mostly I ;D)

Oh! and I just remembered! while we were walking back to our dormitories at night, the sky was BEAUTIFUL! It was filled with stars, a scene which we'll never get in the city.

aah, the wonders of staying in a countryside :) ♥

anyways, that was day 2 :)

A Blending Trip to Kluang.

I know i'm suppose to continue my last post on my holidays in the UK and US, but i'm going to share on my trip to Kluang while my memory's still fresh as i just came back today :)

well, i'm not exactly far off point.

This post does have something to do with 'UK'.

You see, since Saturday I've been at UK Farm in Kluang (haha!) ;D

It stands for "Un Kheng" the owner of the HUGE farm.

okay. here i go.

SATURDAY

I sat Bro Pang's car to Kluang. I was rather disappointed, cause i really wanted to seat the bus with all the other youths. oh well.

On the brighterside, I got to seat at the back seat with my two favourite boys in the whole world! Mr Yu Heng and Rui Rui. Two incredibly fun and adorable kids of Bro and Sis Pang. :D

During the whole journey. the boys and I had fun chatting, playing, and haha- camwhoring!! :D

Anyways, it was a rather long journey, apx 3 hours+.

We had lunch at a hawker store, then off we went to meet the other saints at 'UK farm's Agro Resort"

I first met Jasmine when all the other youths were coming to the meeting room from their dormitories. Was so HAPPY to see her! :D It's been almost 2 months since i saw her. So glad to finally meet her again!! :D ♥

I wish I could've meet the some other sisters whom i love so dearly too. Sadly, they couldn't make it.

Anyways, my ♥ and hugs to you sisters- Ru Xin, Kathleen, Kimberly, Rachel, and Shulamite! :)

After reuniting with Jasmine, I found out from her that some Singaporean sisters that I have befriended since the one month training at 2009 also came! and those sisters were Sis Hana and Sis Joanne :)

okay back to what i did.

We all had a brief meeting. We mainly sang hymns throughout that time. I got to play my guitar this time during the meeting. It's been very helpful to play with the other saints who have taught me to improve in many ways. So, thank you :)

After that we walked back to our dormitories, a 10 minutes distance.

I was practically high on ecstasy along the way, the view of the farm was breathtaking.

Like english movies or a painted scenery.

Picture this.

... vast bright blue sky, big wide green land, white fences, tall broad trees and the wind in your hair.

aah, that's the life :)

Both Jasmine and I were in same room. yay! :D by the time we settled at our room, activities began. we decided to go out to a empty field and take some photos.

We tried so many, so sooooo many jumpshots. and many came out- FAILED. XD

nevertheless, that's part of the fun i guess ;D

once activities are over, we washed up, then back to the reception area for dinner.

Dinner was yummy, and then is when we had our first passion fruit juice. So so so sooooo good. :9

We had a meeting that night, we sang hymns, separated into groups to read and share. :)

After that, we went back to our rooms and had a good night sleep :)

because it's 11.25 now,

my eyelids are too heavy for me to handle,

I have to go to bed.

I'll continue again tomorrow.

A-hah! Updates part 1- Trip to UK and US

Mm, my sad blog.

Forgive me, there's just too much to do these days.

Lucky me, I have 45 minutes before my tuition starts.

So, whare should I START?.

There's so much to share since my last post.

There's my trip to the UK and US, the church trip to Sabah, 2011, school, chinese new year, and more expectations. :)

Guess I'll start with the former then ;D

Okay, trip to London.

I can't remember exactly what happened when, i'll just share what my tiny teenie mind can squeeze out.

I took an air asia flight first to England. It was an extremely LONG flight, apx 12 hours. pure torture. I felt like a statue, not being able to move, but thankfully the scenery was well worth it.

I have not seen a night scene before from an airplane. It was so pretty. :)

*dramatic voice* the navy blue skies with silver like clouds. the moon huge and bight, and best of all - the stars. twinkling so close to me, like my very own friends. as brilliant as diamonds

aah, beautiful. :)

-HAHA.

We landed at London's Heathrow airport early in the morning. It wasn't snowing, but it was freezing cold! While waiting for our driver, we played with our breaths in the cold. Little fun things we do in winter. :)

The driver took us to my aunt Elly's place. It was an hour long drive.

We were not liking the cold very much at this moment.

We ran in to the house jumping on our toes like lunatics on the cold hard floor.

Aunt Elly's house was so pretty, it had a warm cozy feeling to it, with it's woody furnitures and bright lights.

I'll skip some parts here. Nothing much, we just chatted a lot, since it havs been so long since we last saw aunt Elly.

We rested, and then off we go to the train station ( or as the english calls it- tube station) ;)

13th October

Japanese students from Torei Gakuen Fujisawa High School (boy school ;D) came to my school for a visit.

There were around 20 of them, and woo! pheee-witt! ;D

Yes, they're rather nice to look at :) I'm only normal. don't judge me =p

So as always, my school prepared several activities and performances for them.

Choir Club was one them that got chosen to perform.

We sang "sha la la" and "rasa sayang" We were all extremely nervous as we only had a couple of days to practice.

Thank goodness tho, we did great that day :)

In fact, this is the first time the audience asked for an encore.

The japanese students and teachers were all very supportive. They clapped and sang along.

Their principal is so nice, he gave us a standing ovation, which of course brought the others up on their feet.

After that, all the choir members were allowed to interact with the japanese students. Some of them are really nice and funny, some are more quiet and shy.

There's this guy, who just nod his head to everything we say and didn't even look up once! haha, the poor japanese! they were attacked by overly excited girls with cameras.

I was of course one of them ;)

yay! my dad bought a Canon 550d!

I'm extremely happy with it.

I don't really know how to use it yet, but I'll have all the time I need to learn once my exams are over :)

This camera though, is of course not mine, it's my dad's.

But he has agreed to allow us (my sister and I) to use it anytime we want. (under terms and conditions of course XD)

Nevertheless, I'm still really really happy my dad finally bought it. :)

flying brain

The finals are near!
and i know i say this too much, but i just have to say it again.. Time Flies!

It's the begining of October now, and so very soon-December, then a new year-2011.

aah, well, that's life for you :D

Back to Finals...
It is less than a week away, and i feel like my heart is going to jump out anytime now.
I'm not ready!! :S
I feel as if there are millions and ge-zillions of butterflies fluttering around in my tummy!
You know that feeling when you're in a roller coaster that is going up the tracks? before the first scary descend?
That's exactly how I feel right now. (let's hope the track is in good shape)

The worst part is, my brain don't seem to feel the anxiety in me!
I can't concentrate in my studies, even if I can, it only last for a while.
Little things distract me (my senses are especially sensitive when i study)
Things like..newspaper flipping, keyboard typing, someone chewing or sipping, lizards making that "tsk, tsk" noise.. etc.
My fingers and teeth are always itchy, I just have to chew on something when i study.

Aduiii, i'm so hopeless. XD

Aite, it's back to those big, thick, piles of books. *serious face*
If you peeps have any tips on how to study better..
Please, do share it with me :) I need all the help I can get!

Childhood

Today, my dad told me he missed my younger self, and it made me think..

When i was a kid, my world evolved around happiness. and it was that simple :)

sighs*
I do miss those days very much.
It's weird, I have this love/hate feeling on growing up.
On some days, I would just wish to grow up already and be in my 20s or something. And on other days I wish I could just snap my fingers and turn back time to when I was a kid, when troubles don't seem to exist.

Time is flying faster and faster for me.

Life is just a routine now :
And dreams are only real when I sleep.
Goals seem to exist on and off..
sometimes, everything is just a blurred vision.

But, things can change, hopefully it will, soon :)

ANYWAYS.
Let me share with you some stories of my childhood ;)

I was born 16 Dec 94 at University Hospital, PJ.
I'm of half-nyonya, half-cantonese descendants. Chinese, in general.
Parents' hometown are in Malacca and Penang.

When I was a kid, I have the highest and most ear piercing voice ever. You wouldn't believe how annoying my voice can get! XD It was like the ultimate weapon to irritate my siblings then ;D

There's this story my dad always teased me about..
When I was around 4 or 5, before going to bed, my dad would make a bottle of warm milk for me.. But often, he would purposely annoy me and say :"No, Esther, No milk for you tonight!" And when that happens, I would get very upset and start crying really really hard and loud. I would scream those really high-pitched/ear piercing scream.
Then this is when my dad has his fun, he'll tell me :" No, cannot. I won't make any milk for you unless you stop crying." Then, he'll ask me to not use that high-pitched voice.
And I must also say "Ha-Ha-Ha." (my dad is evil and weird, i know. XD)

So almost everynight, I'll be forced to say.....
...... :"Papa... I want "nen nen" (milk) please, Ha-Ha-Ha." in a deep man's voice.

As a Kid, I always had this idea that farting (yes, farting) is a very very embarassing thing and very bad.
So everytime when I have the...shall I say, little bubble? about to pop out, I would RUN as fast as I can and hide behind the couch then.....aaahh.
hahhaha! funny little things we do when we're kids ;D

Another story I remember is,
whenever I prayed to God, I would spread out my arms wide open and draw a huge imaginary heart in the air then I would kiss it in the middle, then blow it towards the sky as if it were a gift to God from me.
:)

I slept around 11 yesterday with my music playlist on.

I had a dream about a girl crying about a boy, then all of a sudden she stopped and started singing "Bitter Heart" by zee avi.
HAHAHA! it was hillarious!! like a very bad musical drama. XD

then i had another dream, where my sister was talking to me, then stopped and started singing and twirling around her room! hahahhahaha!
crazy!
I can't remember what song she was singing, but i guess it was one of the songs playing from my handphone at that moment.

I'll try that again tonight. ;D

on sunday, before school started, i figured "esther, do something good" you know, be productive. instead of sitting on my bed watching dramas. tsk, tsk.

My mom has this small glass cabinet where she placed some of her collectables from various countries and some decorations for all to see.

I decided to take some photos of them :) I had so much fun arranging them, adjusting the lightings, taking photos and editing them! :D

here are the results. I'm pretty happy about it, even tho it's not much, i know. But still, it's nice seeing your work, isn't it? it gives you that sense of satisfaction, pleased. and a sense of pride, something that you can call it yours... :)

today i had a great nasi lemak breakfast.
watched the Prince of Persia, twice.
slept for 4 hours in the afternoon.
had a delicious dinner
made pancakes in the morning and prepared another batter for tomorrow morning.

I never knew making pancakes would be so fun! ;D from mixing flour and sugar to whisking eggs and milk. making pancakes are just a bundle of joy from the start to the end.. :]
The best part is tasting and smelling the batter, that sticky, sweet and soft mushy taste in your mouth and the smell of flour and milk.
a nostalgic feeling of joy when i was a kid entering a bakery shop or helping out my mom with mixing in the kitchen.

I have grown to love baking and cooking in the past few days. I hope this passion of mine will help me in any way to improve and be better, thus feeling good and proud ;)

i am glad with the results, they're not much to look at but they taste good ;)

i'm getting better with the icing but my estimation of time in the oven is not quite there yet..

time just ran by with a smirk plastered on it's face, one week has passed in a snap of a finger. :
thinking about what i have done, what have i achieve this week?
can't say i did much this hols, i practically lived on my bed this week, with a laptop on my lap top. watching dramas and animes =X =/ i'm so asian.

well at least these few days i've been more productive. Baked chocolate chip cupcakes and made pancakes with peanut butter and bananas.
MmmmMmm, really good stuff ;9

The best part about this week is searching for small objects or anything that's valid for a good photo.
u-huh, photography, it's fun and just brings ultimate contentment to your heart :)

the next best thing is having time to take up the guitar and work your fingers across it, mm-hmm, definitely a great feeling. ;)
monday, tuesday, and wednesday i had a study camp. 4 of us brought our guitars, needless to say, we had an awesome time. catching up and all :D

there are still so many things i want to do or have to do.

Things i want to do are go on rides with my besties. (amelia, bila? bila? ;D)
i want to go swimming! (amelia, nak tak? nak tak? jom!)
I want family quality time :)
anything really, i just need to get out from here! :O

the weather here is so unpredictable, yes you may see a bright blue cloudless sunny sky.

the worst kind would be the hot and humid kind.
especially when there's a sunny blazing hot day with drizzling rain.. ough. those are just plain horrible.

and this dumb weather is making me sick all over again.
swollen watery eyes, blocked ears, dry sore throats, fever, headache, and a running nose i can't keep up with.

oh please please weather, give me one day, yes, just one day, a cool breezy day with no rain and no blazing hot sun.

yesterday, we had a home church meeting at my house.

I was in charge of the kids.
I was pretty excited at first, cause i loveee kids ;) I had arts and activities for them to do and i thought it would be easy, :" just a few kids, how hard would it be?"

Boy-ooooh-Boy, was i wrong!
I was in a small room with 7 just-had-a-nap-and-were-super-duper-hyper-active kids!

*smacks head* my goodness...

Just imagine..
..sweaty, screaming, jumping, running, sliding, fighting, whining, crying, messy little kids :O

note:
it's never a good idea to bring kids into a room with a big bed and lots of mattress. cause you just brought them into a wonderland and into your nightmare.

I have to say tho, young kids are really creative.
Each time something pops out, they have an idea of doing something with it.

for example, in my case yesterday..

-an accidentally switched off light turns into the children's idea of a ghost house, or a game of hide and seek in the dark, or "hurry pick your nose before the light turns on again!"

-a flag stick that a kid brought turns into a game of "teacher, teacher" or "let's hit each other with a stick" or a magic wand or a sword etc...

-a big bouncy bed with a stack or mattress opposite turns into "the horror of endless jumping"
Jump! from the mattresses to the bed...
Jump! on the big bouncy bed...
Jump! from the bed to the matresses...
Jump! from the mattresses onto someone.

-a supposingly fun time with arts and crafts turns into "who's got the most stains on their shirt!"

-a 'water noodle' (a kind of float) turns into a sword and a game of "hammer each other on the head"

but all in all, we still had a great time. (well, mostly them ;D)
ahh, what the hey, they're still chubby and shuperr cute :)

but still, i thank God for Him and for the church :)
the Church... i ♥ them more than words can say, more than anything in the world. and i miss them, the sisters ;)

I had a dream yesterday.

I came out from a cottage-like house, and came to face a beautiful view. there were several trees standing in front of me, the trees weren't green as they should be, but they were in purple, pink, white and even blue. like a fairytale.

the air that morning was cool and breezy.. so i took a walk into the colourful woods..

purple and pink leaves were falling on me, pretty gliterring butterflies flutter around me and the sun, oh the sun! shining through the trees, leaving only bright yellow rays on the earthy ground..

but a while after, i had to go, to school..

(like what?!)

well, anyways, yeah.. school.

and the entire day, i was longing to go home and explore the beautiful woods and linger there all day..

when the school bell rang, i made a run for it, grinning all the way.

but, as i reach at the corner of the road, my heart sank into a bottomless pit.

I saw that all the beautiful trees were cut down, with every single twig plucked and shaved.... all dead.

and right at the middle of that huge, empty site that used to be a wonderland, was a small factory. puffing black smokes up to the sky, with blasts roaring to the neighbourhood..

anger and hate filled me... then i woke up.

I know, she's a teacher, but that doesn't automatically make me a "perfect student".
perfect in studies, in character...
forgetting to bring a book is not an offense for your information!
not knowing how to solve a math question is not a Big Deal!!
so okay.... maybe there's been a few times i passed up my homework late or smth like that, but that don't make me a lousy student.
i CAN'T be perfect. no one's perfect for goodness sake!
it annoys me when i get the so-called "special attention" from teachers and students. the spotlight is always on me.
when the others do smth wrong, :"oh sure.. it's okay, nvm.."
bur when i do the slightest bit, :"you guys exaggerate, and say smth like " i thought your mom is a teacher.." (indicating that i should be the goody perfect student)

or else, you all go around, saying :" ai-yerr, somemore she's a teacher's daughter..."

like..:"WHAT??!!"

that is utter nonsense!
let me rephrase, I am NOT my mom! i don't have to be as good in math or add math as her...
i don't have to be the "perfect student" in your imaginations/assumptions.
i'm so tired of living up to everyone's expectations.

and i'm pissed, that you actually confront my mom and speak so lowly of me when you yourself ain't any better.. does it please you that you look down on me? that you deliberately embarrass my mom just because i failed everyone's expectations?

like i don't know already. like i haven't had enough!!!!!! do you have to just bring my mom into all this???? can't it just be me and me alone?? can't you just treat me like everyone else?? maybe you're joking at times, but have it ever occured to you that this girl you're speaking to has another 20-30 more teachers doing the same thing.. and she is tired, tired of shallow comments, of eyes looking at her wherever she goes, of ppl thinking that my mom can be excuse for just about anything, of how i should be a goody teacher's daughter..

today, i looked up today to see a vast, blue sky with clouds coloured with red and orange rays..
10 minutes passed, and the cloud seemed to just melt away, leaving a smooth looking red, orange, yellow then blue sky...cloudless.
the sun rising at that moment, reassured me, saying :"today's gonna be a great day, you'll be fine.."

I found myself thinking:" What a beautiful world God has created.."

School was horrible today.

by the middle of the day, i had a stomach ache... food poisoning.
man, it's manjung all over again!

each time i walk, the pain increased, then when the final bell rang, i couldn't take it anymore.

fastly and dizzily i headed to the toilet.
man, this was the weirdest and pretty much the scariest experience i ever had..
I reached the stairs, and my vision started to blur. my footsteps no longer coordinated, my brain feeling nothing, numb. and all the noises, students chattering all became unheard, just a low humming sound... about to black out

how ironic, in the morning, i asked my friend a random question :"how does it feel like to faint?"

but anyways,
Thank God, i managed to reach the toilet..
and i came out feeling much better..

Tho now, i'm officially scared of food! yes. me.. scared of food! i know right??!
but i really gotta watch out now, the next time i might not be so lucky..

I went to the doctor and got my results

here they are:

Haemoglobin- 97 (115-165)
PCV-0.31 (0.35-0.47)
MCV- 76 (78-99)
MCH- 24 (27-32)
RDW- 15.1 (11.0-15.0)

and serum iron- 3.4 (9.0- 26.0)

these are the results that are below average. frankly, i'm not sure what are they, but i just refer the numbers.. the ones in the bracket are the ranges of a normal healthy person.
as you can see, i lack in pretty much all of them. ecspecially iron, that's just way too low.

"Iron Deficiency" the doctor repeated many times.

so now, i'm on a pretty strict diet.. boo. :(

i have myself to blame XD

yesterday we had a youth blending in Pj hall..
It was so enjoyable.

We sang hymns

the message that the brother shared was about the history of the church and those missionaries that gave their whole life for the Lord and His move.
how they sacrifice everything and some,even their life, for the Lord was so touching.
Praise the Lord, for such brothers and sisters, that overcame everything that hindered them from loving God.
Such true, simple and pure love is so hard to find now.
even myself, present and past, i gave so much of my life to the world, to everything that is vain, meaningless..
but God has never gave me up, no matter how many times i've forsaken Him. He draws me back everytime i get out of course.

My choir club organized a talent show.

yesterday was the audition, and boy!! i had no clue my schoolmates had so much talent!

There was dancing, singing, and "che-ling"..

Dancing- MJ dance, break dance, popping, shuffling, hip-hop. and all of them were so gooood!

My room has officially turned into a jungle.
it's infested with bugs and reptiles. *cringe*
just the other day i say a lizard with a long striped tail behind my soap container and i had to use the toilet so badly!

my group chose the story about "Mahsuri.."
supposingly this amazingly beautiful girl from Langkawi that brought fortune to her foster parents, and one day fell in love and got married. Other men from the village got jealous, so this one guy planned to ruin Mahsuri's life by falsely acuusing her of having an affair with her friend. So the chief heard about this and sentennced her to death. so after mahsuri died, she put a curse on langkawi, that for 7 generations, whoever that accused her shall have no peace...

and guess who's Mahsuri?
